Overview

Tyndall Stone is a medium density dolomitic limestone characterized by the mottling of light limestone (calcium carbonate) and dark limestone (magnesium dolomite) as a result of fossilization of burrowing marine creatures. The mottling gives the rock a tapestry-like effect.
