Overview

Quarried from the mountain tops of Minas Gerais Brazil, this black quartzite captivates its audience with gently flowing layers and striking white veining, tied together with a vintage finish, enhancing the millions of years of history hidden inside the Minas Gerais mountains. This Brazilian natural stone combines the strength of an anthracite with the depth and shine of a mica black schist. Black bands of mica schist are broken up by the characteristic white quartz veins. As its name implies, this stone resembles a raging storm in a vast sea.
